About the Speaker

Speaker Ken Vessey
Ken is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at UL Solutions. His work in plastics, insulation systems, tape, tubing and sleeving, wire positioning devices, marking and labeling systems, fiber optics, and wire and cable demonstrate his vast and varying experience and expertise. Ken has more than 33 years of UL safety certification experience and is presently is a corporate seminar presenter for UL University for “Plastics for Use in Electrical and Electronic Applications” as well as “Electrical Insulation Systems.” He is an integral part of the development of the Recognition Program for Plastics Materials used in additive manufacturing (3D printing) and is a member of ASTM F42/ISO TC 261 on additive manufacturing. He was also instrumental in the development of the online Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for RoHS and Non-Halogen Certifications. Ken is also responsible for providing global technical assistance to UL's engineers handling certification projects for materials, electrical & electronic products.
